Isabelle's 2nd experience flying on Air Asia flight

We made a trip to Bintulu early November, to be exact it was on the 4th - 6th November. Visited a friend who stays there and spent our weekend with them at Bintulu. There is nothing much to do in Bintulu but the weekend was still quite fun.

Isabelle had two of her first experience in Bintulu - playing in a inflatable pool and walk barefoot on the beach. It was a very good fun experience for Isabelle.

Our friend had a inflatable pool at their back yard so immediately I had suggested why not let the kids play in the pool. Isabelle loves it so much and I love watching this video that I've took for her while she's getting splash with water from Keith (Friend's son, also Leslie's godson). Belle is sooooo cute and her reaction is sooooo adorable.

Isabelle actually fell into the water and her face was literally in the water. My friend and her maid saw and actually panic. I quickly pull Isabelle up and she was laughing with joy. I believe babies naturally knows what to do when they gets into the water.

We were so worried that she will fall again so we put a float on her plus 2 arm floats. This way we are sure she won't slip and fall into the water again.

Beach at Bintulu

I did not expect that there would be a close by beach in Bintulu. We brought the kids to the beach for a walk (since we had nothing much to do anyways). This is the first time Belle gets to feel the beach sand and sea water. She tried to taste the sand twice and ofcourse we have quickly told her not to do that and wash the sand off her mouth. I guess after 2 attempts of tasting the sand she knows that they don't taste nice and she stop putting sands into her mouth. Belle walked on the beach, played with the sand, felt the sea breeze and I can tell she's enjoying it very much. Is always a good idea to let her explore new things and get close to nature especially.

Overall I would say the Bintulu trip was a good one. Thanks to our friend for such homely hospitality.

Isabelle is 1 years old

I can't believe I totally forgot to blog about Isabelle's birthday party and I just realise I didn't post anything in the whole of September. Very bad.

The party was great although I feet something was lacking at the party. We had the birthday party at a cafe called Little Pantry in IOI Mall. Daddy did some banner designs and hung on the wall at the party place.

I think Isabelle hard a good time that day. That day was the first time she's wearing shoes walking around and she actually walked up and down for in the party room for 2 hours. I really wonder where she gets all the energy and it can last for quite a few hours. Here's a photo of Isabelle with her birthday cake.

The birthday cake is from Isabelle's Godma (Sue). She bake this cake for Belle with lots of hearts and sweats :) Thanks Sue for the lovely birthday cake XOXOXO

I had a friend who helped us and took many pretty photos on that day but I totally forgotten to ask someone to help us take some videos as well. Thank god my sis took this video using her Iphone and this is the only video we have on her birthday.

A blink of eyes and now Isabelle is already 1 years old. Time flies. Many friends starting asking me when am I planning for a second one. My answer is always the same to everyone : "I don't know" :)

So now after Belle's 1 year old party, what's next? A few travelling plans for the three of us perhaps!

Isabelle is on the move

Isabelle is enjoying herself cruising around the house with her 2 little feet. She's 11 months old now and she is already walking without having to hold on to anything for assistance. Sometimes she's so eager to walk towards to reach to the next point, she look like she's running. Now, she can also easily  just squat and stand up again. How cool is that!

Bye bye Baby, Hello Toddler.

Took her first few steps without holding on to anything

She is 10 months 26days old, walking a few steps without holding on to anything for support but have a remote control on each hand. This little devil is really dare devil. She's not afraid of falling, she will just keep trying and trying until she gets what she wants.

I have been taking quite a lot of videos of Isabelle's activities in the house especially when she walks. Is really cute to look at her when she's trying to take a few steps balancing herself not falling.

I was busy in the kitchen and daddy let her crawl, walk and explore around the house.

This silly girl do have her tantrums sometimes but when she smiles at you and does funny faces and all, I just can't stand but always want to hug her tight and squeeze her.

Nowadays she makes this funny face when we say No to her. Everytime she does that, we'll laugh at how silly she is. Even when nanny says "don't put your finger in your mouth", immediately she will do that funny weird face. I must try to snap a photo that expression and post it in my blog so that next time Isabelle can laugh at herself when she sees it :)

This is a video when the 2 babies playing together. Isabelle naughty, bullying her cousin Daniel and playing rough hehehehe.

There are more videos which I've uploaded to my youtube. Not all vidoes are shown in this blog here.

No need walker or push cart

We have save one last toy before opening it up to Isabelle. Thanks to our beloved friend for all the great toys from various brand. This is one of it that Belle enjoys especially it helps her learn how to walk :) @ 10 months +

This is not a Baby Walker, not a push car, is just a table like toy with objects on top but Belle is using it as her push car to aid her in learning how to walk. Cool leh.  Here's some video.

This little dare devil is super naughty. She will do anything to get what she wants.

She can sleep on her own

10 months 1 day, no patting, no carrying or rocking. She slept in her cot on her own just like that. This is a blessing as we no longer need to struggle to get Isabelle to fall asleep. Nanny has done a very good job training Isabelle how to fall asleep on her own. I'm so proud of Belle and many thanks to Nanny Connie.

Potty training

I started potty train Isabelle since she is 7 months old. I've got a friend who told she start potty train her baby since full moon. This is seriously abit too early to train baby on potty before she can even sit up straight on her own right? Oh well every mom has their own way of upbringing their child.

When Isabelle is in her 7 months old, every morning after she finish her milk I will put her on potty to poo poo. I must say, out of 10 times, 7 successful with results. Not bad for a start right? I bought the potty from GIANT hypermarket for only RM1.99. The potty size fits just nice for Isabelle small butt. No plans to buy those fancy potty cause I know she won't sit on it to poo so no point wasting money.

I took a photo of her on potty of how she looks so that when she grows older, she can look at her own photos.

But nowadays (10 months old), she doesn't poo in the morning much. Out of 10, maybe only 2 or 3 times with results. Isabelle, why do you want to keep your poo poo inside your tummy.

Nanny Connie

I have been wanting to put up Isabelle's nanny photo here but i've been very lazy to update this blog for the past few weeks. We've took a photo of Isabelle with nanny Connie so next time when Isabelle grow up, she get to see who is her nanny when she was a baby.

We are currently paying RM950 every month to nanny for babysitting Isabelle. No doubt this fee is quite high comparing to the market rate out there, but atleast I can say I'm very satisfied with how nanny is taking care of Isabelle. Is definately worth the money.

Little angel learning fast!

Only 8 months old and Isabelle already wants to stand. Is she a fast learner or what! Nanny always tell me that Isabelle knows how to do this, how to do that, she's developing her skills very fast. Am happy but at the same time a lil worried too. Looking at the speed of her development, maybe she can walk before she turns 1. Hmm, is this good or not? Not sure. Anyhow, we both feel blessed as Isabelle is growing up healthy and naughty.

This is a photo from nanny. Isabelle first time work her way up in a standing position in her playpen.

The same night Isabelle showed her how she can stand up in her crib

Now that she can easily climb and stand in her crib, we have lowered the base of the crib to the lowest level otherwise we are sure one day Isabelle will just fall and flip over from the crib. She's very naughty and will always try every dangerous action.

Family Portrait

We had our first very decent and beautiful family portrait taken on my 201, 24th April birthday. Isabelle is 7 months old in this picture : Mommy 33 and Daddy 35

I love this photo so much. The color, the photo composition lighting and everything makes it look like as though the photo was taken in a studio set-up environment. I'm going to frame this photo and hang or place it somewhere in our living room where guest can see and for ourselves to admire.

Isabelle's First Fall

Today Isabelle fell off from the bed and landed on the floor boomph! I had a shock in my life and quickly ran towards her and carry her up from the floor. Kesian... she cried very loud.

I put her on the bed as usual after i finish dressing her up after her bath in the morning. I had pillows and bolster surrounding her to keep her from crawling towards the edge. Just a I turn and walk into the toilet, suddenly I hear the sound boomph! and she started crying. Poor Isabelle. I quickly carry her and sayang, then daddy carry her and sayang, then i carry again and then offer her milk and she slowly calm down and started drinking her milk. After finishing the whole bottle, she was ok already. Then she started smiling again. Tough baby. After this incident, I better quickly go home and set-up the playpen and any time when I need to walk away to do some work, I shall put her into the playpen.

First Solid

Isabelle had her first taste of solid food on 2nd April (Saturday). I gave her Nestle Rice Cereal mix with Similac Milk. She loves the rice cereal. This is also my first time feeding baby cereal. Very challenging indeed. End up the cereal is all over Isabelle's mouth and Bib :)

We have sent Isabelle to her new nanny on the following Monday 4th April. Nanny is a very friendly and nice women - Connie. I can tell that she's a very patient person and she loves kids. Thank god Connie is willing to accept Isabelle to babysit her, otherwise we will still be stuck with the old nanny. Everyday, Connie will note down in a paper all the feeding, sleeping, pooping activities for the day. This is a very good practice atleast I get to know what Isabelle goes through the day and how's her eating and sleeping habit.

This is a new recipe I made for Isabelle introducing Broccoli mix with rice cereal. Greens are good for babies too :). Lately nanny has given porridge blends with potato & carrot or potato & apple to Isabelle. Think she is enjoying all the new food.

Crawling engine starts NOW....

She's getting her engine started already. First it was just pushing her butt up, then the backward moving and now, she is going to master her crawling very soon. Only at 6 months old she's already started to crawl. Oh no! Nightmare for me and daddy to be chasing after Belle.

Nothing can stop her from getting where she wants to go :)

Naughty Belle trying out new pram

We were shopping at Cammyland for a new pram to bring to nanny's house (Nanny's request ). We saw the sale item so thought why not get Isabelle to try it out see if she likes it. This Isabelle is getting very naughty. Before we get to clip her up with the seatbelts, she's already slip down and end up with non-glamour pose.

Turn left Turn Right

Belle started to know how to roll over from her back to front and vice-versa when she was 5 months old. Daddy thought her how to turn both to left and to right. Now she has turn six months old, she can be rolling from one end to another end. Oh dear! Nowadays when I'm changing her diaper, I can't leave her on the bed alone for more than 5 secs. I just turn away and look back, she is already at the edge of the bed. Even changing diaper or changing clothes has become very challenging now that she always want to roll over and be on her tummy.

Belle & Daniel
One of the usual Sundays where we have breakfast together with Sis, BIL and Mom. We hold both babies Belle and Daniel facing each other so that they can interact :) But Daniel very cool, he doesn't seem to be very much interested to play with Belle. Belle is always the one that makes her first move hehehe.

Langkawi Trip

We went to Langkawi for a short trip. With high anticipation to see how Langkawi is like, imagine that it would be similar to Phuket but end up big disappointment. There is really nothing much in Langkawi especially the town area. Definitely no reason to go back for second visit unless is a paid for trip.

Here's another video that I took - Belle laughing at Daddy's silliness.

Cybex Topaz

Hubby bought a new pram for Isabelle. He has done so much research on this brand and model and been waiting to get one since before Chinese New Year. Only until last week he finally got the pram from Baby Kingdom for RM799. Apparently Cybex is an award winning brand for best stroller :P

It was Isabelle's first time getting on this pram so I dressed her in red matching the pram's color :)

See how Isabelle blends in so well into the pram. Can hardly see her if it's not her beanie so stand out muahahaha

Looks like she's enjoying her new ride and getting comfortable in it

I put on another beanie on Isabelle to see if it looks nice on her. See how naughty she is. She pulled the beanie and now covered her eyes kekeke.

And this is how Isabelle looks without wearing a beanie.

Isabelle New Hair Style

Belle has her first new hair style when she's 4 months 21 days old. Now she officially look more like a baby boy. Her hair were falling so much until certain part of her head looks bald. So I decided to have her hair shaved so that her hair will grow evenly. Now she look like a lil monk :D

In another 1 weeks time Isabelle is going to be 5 months old. Time flies. Still remember the confinement days when Isabelle is still so small size. Now she's learning how to flip and turn on her tummy. Soon she will be crawling around and my days is going to me more tired chasing her.

Isabelle's Development in 4 months old :

Lift leg up and hands pull her feet to her mouth

Hold, take and put pacifier into her mouth

Now a days she can also flip and turn on her tummy but ofcause she still need some help from us to give her a little push. Her arms are not strong enough yet to push herself up and support her own weight.

Sadly, Isabelle still can't sleep through the night not waking. Every night, she will wake for maybe 3 or 4 times and she can't fall back to sleep on her own. I will need to get up, give her the pacifier and pat her to sleep. Sometimes even with the pacifier, she kind of have difficulty falling back to sleep. Her eyes is close but she keeps twisting, moving and can't settle to sleep. I'm very curious why is this happening. Is she hungry, wet diaper or just a habit. How I wish very soon she can sleep through the night without waking until next morning.

Hands & Legs

At 4 months old, Isabelle can now lift her hand and reach the musical toy hanging on her favourite rocker chair. She don't need mommy or daddy to help her pull for the music anymore. Good Job Isabelle! She has now reached another development milestone.

I think Isabelle has also discovered her own legs recently. Started yesterday, she always have her legs lifted up to her chest so that her hands can reach and grab her feet. Now when I have to change diaper for her, is getting more challenging cause I will always have to pull her legs down and push her hands away so that I can put on the diaper properly. Oh no, very soon Isabelle will know how to grab her feet and start putting her feet into her mouth. Faint !

3 months 26 days

Time flies. Isabelle is going to be 4 months old come 24th Jan. In another months time I will have to start her on solids. Need to do more research and homework on what kind of solid food to give her for a start.

Isabelle can lift her head high enough when she's on her tummy position. But she haven't yet learned to roll over on her own. I have to help to flip her over every time to let her practice to be on her tummy. Hmmm.. I wonder when will she start crawling.

Here's a photo of Daniel & Isabelle together lying side by side. Belle is 1 month older than Daniel. Look, Belle is crying but yet Daniel looks so cool. Not bothered by Belle's crying at all. He's probably whispering in his mind saying "Why do girls always have to cry" Hahahaha. So cute.

This is Belle in her spaghetti strap dress i bought for her before she was born. First time wearing it and I think she likes it already. Sexy.

Talkative Baby

Isabelle at 3 months 2 weeks

Belle Belle nowadays can be very talkative. Yesterday we manage to capture a video of her going on and on talking in her baby language. She is so cute and funny especially with her face expression. I wonder what she was trying to tell me. Wouldn't it be nice if we are able to decipher baby's language and understand what they are trying to tell us :)

The other day hubby got the car seat out from the room and getting it fix up for Isabelle in his car. He put Isabelle on the seat to test test. She looks so cute on her car seat. I like this photo so much.
